Aaron Solomon is the owner/Senior Piercer of Velvet Elvis Piercing, the Professional Body Piercing division of Jaded Soul Tattoo. He has been a Professional Body Piercer for over 13 years. He served a traditional apprenticeship in ’98, and furthered his knowledge by attending the Association of Professional Piercers conference and seminars in both ’99 and ’00, where he gained invaluable knowledge and training in anatomy, asepsis, aftercare, bedside manner, every facet of modern body jewelry (including implant metal content and appropriate sizes, styles, and the importance of internal threading), not to mention valuable knowledge on specific piercing and stretching techniques, and the insight and new ideas that can only come from talking and socializing with the best Piercers in the industry. In 2001 he moved to Knoxville,TN and began Piercing at Saint Tattoo, the premiere Tattoo and Body Piercing shop in Knoxville, and all of East Tennessee. After a few short years he became the Senior Piercer at Saint Tattoo. Always keeping up on the latest techniques, jewelry, and aftercare that the Piercing industry had to offer. After 7 years at Saint Tattoo he decided to strike out on his own, moving to Portland,OR. You can be assured that Aaron is always keeping up with industry standards, and thirsting for new knowledge everyday to add to his already impressive skill set.
